I've been loving lots of trompe l'oeil tree bark looking things

British Antique Seascape Watercolor, Unsigned clouds Woven of light weight woolIt may be the product of chaotic times, but Im developing quite a fondness of small seascape watercolors, and think they would be a really wonderful thing to build a collection of and hang salon style as a grouping. Ive been finding especially lovely ones of the English Coast, as is this one. Early 20th century I believe and rendered in soft grays and browns, with loose wash for the sky and a subtle hint perhaps of blue sky emerging through clouds. To
