Cantine Rallo, Soleras 20 yr old Marsala, Sicily, Italy Teroldego wild yeast fermentations and minimalMarsala translates to 'A splash in the pan', and for years it was considered nothing but cooking wine but luckily opinions are changing and we're rediscovering what a serious Sherry competitor it truly is. This smooth, rich wine has been aged for 20 years in small oak casks via a Solera system, a cascading raging system used in the production of sherry where each vintage is blended with the previous vintages. Caramel nuttiness with crisp acidity means
