Adsit's crew in the USAAF 8th Air Force, 392nd Bombardment Group, 578th Bomb Squadron based out of Wendling, England. The 392nd Bomb Group flew B 24 Liberators out of Wendling, Norfolk from August 1943 until April 1945. They were the first
