It is similar to the Model 1842 Saber Bayonet, the Mississippi Rifle bayonet, and the Type II M1855 bayonet, but none are exact. Some information online showed it could be a Brazilian or US export but no one could identify it with full confidence. So it is being sold as is. The blade is in great condition,
