Measuring 9 3 4" X 16" this is the ORIGINAL Certificate printed and then completed by hand, granting this 160 acre Land Grant for the receipt of some undisclosed amount paid to the General Land Office by a MARTIN BROWNE SENIOR of MADISON COUNTY INDIANA, dated Thirtieth day of September 1835 and signed Andrew Jackson. The signatures were most likely filled out by the secretary of the land office, or the Commissioner, whose
