While there is not question that the lock plate or the entire lock was made in England it is our belief these weapons we assembled in the kingdom of Nepal in the latter 1870s and 1880s. At that time the Nepalese were very adept gun makers and would use whatever good gun parts were available, therefore on some of these Snider
