This is a superb BeVo style machine embroidered Wehrmachtadler breast eagle from a German WWII Heer (Army) NCO's or Officer's Uniform, with the standard 1940 pattern light green background, with a silver bullion thread eagle. These were worn on the breast of the uniform tunic, just above and partly on the pocket. This example was cut off a uniform, complete with the surrounding fabric. The insignia is about 4 1 4" x
