Original U.S. 19th Century Single Shot Rifled Percussion Target Pistol Attributed to Allen & Wheelock - circa 1860 Category_Flintlock Pistols To retain the clean externalOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice single shot percussion overcoat pistol, made circa 1860 for the U. S. Market, which had become enthusiastic about target shooting during the latter half of the 19th Century. This example does not have a maker marking, however we believe it was made by Ethan Allen of Massachusetts (1808 1871), who during the 1860s was partnered with his brother in law Thomas Wheelock.
