with masking taped edges matching the darker edges of the drawing

such that the lid lifts all the way off

And the best orange. Earlyish 19th century I believe, lacquered papier mache. 2 5 8" d x 1" t. One old, clean split to the side of the lid as documented and just light general wear, stable and sound. Last two photos show it next to second snuff box found along with it, listed separately.
