some wear and aging to the handle including a few dings to the wood here and there

a version of which is featured in the collection of the Smithsonian Museum

It needs to handled somewhat gently

And everything looks pretty sitting atop it. 15" l x 7 1 2" w x 8" t. Earlyish 20th c. I would guess, better in person, sturdy and sound and level.
