The medium surface is used to remove scratches from rougher stones and to further refine an edge. This grit is often effective for using as a starting point for blades in fairly good condition. The smooth surface is for finishing and applying a sharp edge to the blade. 200 x 50 x 25mm (8" x 2" x 1"). Made in Japan. Boxed.
