and there is a worn leather leg tie-down attached to the bottom of the scabbard

but is intact and a lovely aged brown color

This is a lovely, nearly unissued condition example of a Trench Gun ammo pouch. This would have been used to store loose shells that would not have been able to fit on a bandolier or ammunition belt. This example does not have the loops on the inside to better secure the shells.
