This is a fantastic French made and supplied Modèle 1951 Helmet as used by the Israeli Defence Force

with the plastic covering for the barrels retained well

The full length wood fore-end was never fitted with a brass nose cap and finished 1/8" shy of the barrel muzzle

This example is offered in good condition and looks to have been repainted black long ago, much of which has flaked away, leaving areas of oxidation. We do not see any traces of the flat medium dark blue "Blue Peril" paint job that WWII Era practice bombs
