This is a very interesting and totally unresearched Victorian Era double edged fighting knife, which we believe to be of British or U. S. manufacture. It is marked BECKETT SLATER & Co. on the blade ricasso, a company that we have not been able to find any information on. The knife has a very nice tarnished embossed silver hilt, and what looks to be a brass cross guard. It comes with a weathered leather scabbard,
