I spotted this orange-painted wooden carrying box from afar and knew I had to have it

it is in excellent condition and I think would be especially striking for growing a winter narcissus or amaryllis

with a few nicks to the wood here and there

the gold on black lettering pops beautifully

Weight with Satisfying Shape and Surface Frank Baum Dimensions: 6 1/2" tall xI would guess, having a handle of sorts, that this was a weight for some sort of industrial scale, but Im not certain. As per my postal scale, it weighs 2 lbs. 4 oz or so. I love it for its satisfying form, and for its black surface that also shows some traces of red on the handle where it was clearly much grabbed, and for the flat, unpainted bottom that looks sliced with an industrial saw rather than cast. Useful for holding down large piles of
