but it looks like the nails were removed at some point at the strips were glued (though there is no glue showing

A few scrapes and scratches here and there

The tallest figures measure 5 1/4" tall with a diameter of 1 1/2" at base

These I purchased from a seller near to me in Massachusetts, who dates them to 1840 or so based on a map of the United States done by the same person, which included Texas Territory (Texas became a state in 1845).
