In the early 1940s, the Chilean military ordered 1,000 M 1941 Johnson rifles in 7x57 (the difference in caliber necessitated procuring barrels from Mexico), which were delivered in 1943. This is a great & scarce example of the M 1941 Johnson rifle bayonet produced for the contract, in its original leather scabbard. The bayonet is in good shape overall without any markings we can find. Some of these we have seen have
