This is a lovely Italian officers uniform for a Capitano serving with the infantry. The uniform has a lovely period Aiguillette attached as well as a period blue sash which we have been unable to identify. The uniform has two shoulder boards with three stars under the infantry insignia over a crown, denoting a Capitano of Infantry. The collar has a lovely velvet black base with attached red unassigned infantry gorget
