There is a super minor split to the wood of the base at one far corner

but if so not much

I do find the aesthetics of boxing extremely powerful

but what I love most is the way that the shot and eroded away parts of the head and neck/back transform this duck into a fiercer looking creature - like a serpent of some sort

Sweet Little Old Whittled Ball in Cage Whimsy plaited basket which was sadly not toAnother week, another little whimsy, because I'll never pass these by, with each one is its own particular thing and a rustically whittled one like this really has the hand of its maker all over it. Pretty crude, but very sweet, with the ball inside not especially round, and tight in the cage, such that in some positions it will defy gravity! 3" x 1 1 16" x 7 8". One tiny split to one corner of "cage" as documented.
