without too much of a stretch I think

and aside from a few missing chimneys in truly excellent condition

It's been a bit since I've found a good old hand-drawn/hand-painted postcard

I especially love the zig zag silhouette of the head

I've never seen the likes of it before, a paperweight with photograph embedded perfectly framed by cutout heart inside the larger brass heart. Surely a love token, and surely made by a metalsmith, in 1903, I presume for his sweetheart Carrie (or Earrie? but I'm thinking maybe he just added an extra flourish
