Original U.S. Civil War Era French Style Pocket Percussion Pistol with Silver Wire Inlay - circa 1855 Antique Handguns Army and USMCOriginal Items. Only One Available. Here we have a lovely U. S. Civil War Era single shot percussion pistol, made very much in the French Belgian style. It features an octagonal "faux Damascus" barrel, with a fully engraved box lock and French style carved grip with a flat bottom. The lock is engraved on the sides and top, and the grip has some carving around the bottom and on the sides near the receiver, with lovely silver wire inlay on the rear. The
