Elegant, Soulful, Hand-carved Dog gift for my daughter with a screw still inPhotos don't quite do justice to this really wonderful carved dog, which, with these long, floppy ears I'd guess represents a hound of some sort, or perhaps a lab? and I have to think a much beloved one, as it has a very soulful face and presence! At 5 1 2" tall and with a nice weight, it feels substantial, and to my eye beautifully merges a mid century elegance with a more folky sensibility. Really a lovely one.
