This is a scarce and gorgeous example of an M 1923 rifle sling. The M1923 web sling is basically an M1907 in fabric with buckles instead of hooks. This example is stamped S. M. CO. 1942. The canvas has held up considerably well and the brass fittings have some wear. A fantastic example, ready for further research and display.
