with the tips of a number of the leaves curling to brown

and the kids could probably using it for playing tug of war without breaking it

Pennsylvania Schoolgirl Watercolor multiplication dial showing the white backsideOf all the things found in the last two weeks, this one feels to me the dearest at the moment. 19th century, likely done by a school girl, probably in Pennsylvania, watercolor on lined paper. A flower that also looks like a figure wearing a skirt, with ochre leaves looking both like pears and like boxing gloves, and a pointed end, roots, like a carrot, or a blade, or a ballerina on point. Looks a bit like an ice cream cone too. Layers of life and
