with a tiny piece of cardboard I believe stuck inside to keep everything tightly upright

clean and bright

and it looks very much like ancient Aksumite heads

with staining to the glass and interior of the lid

Hand painted on cardboard with great color, making one nostalgic for the nearly lost art of sign painting and also for the prices of yesteryear! 13 3 4" x 13 3 4". A little wear loss to the corners but in overall good shape.
