This is a very nice clay Sacred Earth urn which contains dirt from the battlefield of the Somme. These were made in Paris in the 1920s to raise funds for Disabled veterans of World War I. The urn comes in its original box which measures 6 x 3 x 1. It also comes with an original certificate which certifies the earth as being taken from the battlefield in France.
