The code described here seems generally in keeping with what else I've seen

Super solid structural shape and what I think is quite a gorgeous surface

which I would guess date from the the 1940s or earlier

as there is variation among the faces

which have lost most of its black paint

Against a charcoaled background she emerges rather like a vision, with this giant hat, I guess it is, reading a bit like a halo, and or a crown! On the reverse we learn that the postcard was sent to a Mrs. Jane Holt from "Aunt Selina", with the card "penciled and drawn by Eddie himself"! Great. 3 1 2" x
