this musket was manufactured before 1770 and then upgraded in areas over the subsequent decades

This could very easily be cleaned off without damaging or detracting from the piece

There is some light oxidation

This is a lovely pair of French WWI Binoculars, made in Paris. The front is marked IC. 18. 512 and they are nicely marked on the rear of the left barrel: EXTRALUMINEUSE7x and the right: HUETPARIS There is a plated small brass plate on each barrel, the left bearing Ranging plate details from 100 to 1200 meters and imprinted with a French Infantryman bearing rifle and bayonet.
