The exterior surface is carved with a grid of nine squares on each side

While trying to avoid too much glare from the glass

Sight holes at the center of the lenses make them wearable

This was the first thing that caught my eye as I walked into a show in Bath

and--found in New Hampshire--I think either New England or Pennsylvania

He'll sit up on his own in various poses, and can also stand balanced in a split or backbend, etc. Stamped Delta Japan on one foot, c. 1920 1940 I believe. 15 1 2 tall ; 3 3 4 wide shoulders and in good condition, all joints operating well. Dry wood surface, showing age
