This is a very nice Dutch T Back Sword bayonet for use with the M1895 Infantry Rifle. It is in very good condition, with an original leather scabbard and belt frog. For more information, please see Watts & White, The Bayonet Book, Page 225 Item No. 500. This is an early version, which has the hooked quillons that were later removed. The cross guard is marked with serial number 2836, and the body of the blade with WG
