Now this is a lovely example of a moderately serviceable M1943 double buckle combat boots. The boots are a matched pair offered in a size 8 1 2 which can be found on the leather buckle cuff above each ankle. The laces are original period issue and the boots themselves show no signs of significant damage. The composition sole combat service boot, or "double buckle boot" as it is commonly known, originated as part of a
