I'd guess this old pair of chairs and bench were lovingly custom built for a group of rag dolls (I've included one photo of an 11 inch tall doll seated very happily on the bench for scale)

reading a bit like a halo

Beautiful Old Hand-stitched Leather and Woven Pin Cushion orientalist portrait Donnie thinks shame [Yesterday was my day for finding wonderful and unusual old pin cushions, this and twelve sided one I just listed found in New Hampshire. The leather on this one is soft and just beautifully aged, and makes me want to just carry it around in my hand. The center appears to have been hand woven, with a dark green brown thread showing on the exterior, with the leather sewn to either edge. It seems possible that this could be Native American, but I'm not
