I found this one at Brimfield and it is quite an extraordinary and beautiful piece of work--a Chinese embroidery on silk

It is an old gold painted frame

the carved modeling of his face makes it such that one really doesn't miss the paint

Upon which his hat perfectly sits. Excellent in every way I think, early 1900s, unused postcard back. 5 3 8" x 3 7 16", very good condition.
