Original U.S. Percussion Musket with British Lock by Ashmore and Springfield Barrel dated 1824 Field Gear In the northOriginal Item: Only One Available. This just came out of the attic after a hundred years of storage, together with a couple of hundred other guns. It is a full stocked Trade Musket, made using a trade lock by R. ASHMORE of ENGLAND, as marked on the lock plate over WARRANTED. The stock is very nice, with a great color, all brass mounted with an engraved escutcheon on the wrist. This is surrounded by a bit of wire inlay. The barrel is 40 inches long,
