I haven't found another button quite like this one

I have found one other similar pair online dated to the 1920s

and there is an old crease running along the bottom edge

so perhaps Morning Star is the name of the stove

and this is a bit of an unusual one

Ledger Paper secret I haven't found another buttonThis is one of five drawings on ledger paper I am listing, all found together, with some 19th c. writing on some of the pages, but the drawings (or in this case printed lettering) done a few decades later, I'm guessing 1920s or 30s, when a kid, or a couple of them, got a hold of the ledger. The phrase "No, it is rotten out" spelled out in hand stamped letters really makes this for me, but then I also like to think about handsome George, and wonder
