S. made escape road map of West Africa, printed by the ARMY MAP SERVICE, U. S. ARMY, in OCTOGER 1942. The map looks to be made of light canvas or muslin, and measures 25 1 2"W x 36"H, printed in black, red, and blue. It shows Morocco, Algeria, as well as what was then known as "French West Africa", today Mauritania and Mali. The coastal areas are present as well, showing what Africa was like at
