I believe it dates to the 1830s-40s

I am pretty confident these date to just about 1900

I believe this is meant to be an egret (standing in a small pool of water)

Certainly it also feels like something of a interior portrait, a darkening mood, the grass much greener over there. But yet, surrounded by wildflowers, perhaps the clouds are in fact lifting and the sunlight about to fall on her shoulders. I really like the larger than
