though I’ve not see another with cross bar at the top rather than towel bar at the the bottom

The beauty of this is subtle

and great gray-brown color to the double layered frame itself

I am not certain exact age, but it certainly looks and feels quite old to me. Beautiful form, great surface, satisfying in the hand. I might be inclined to wear this as a pendant around my neck when wanting needing to feel powerful! 3 1 4" x 1 1 4". Surface wear and aging as evident, very much to the good I think.
