This is a very nice set of German WWII Heer Oberstleutnant's (Lieutenant Colonel's) Schulterstcken (Shoulderboards) with a single "pip" or star in the quadruple silver Russia braid. This rank is equivalent to the U. S. Lt. Colonel, above the rank of Major but below the "Full" colonel. This set of shoulder boards have very nice bordeauxrot (Bordeaux Red) felt backing, which was the Waffenfarbe (corps color)
