The receiver is dated 1873 as well as 1875 behind the cocking handle

5 second delay (this was the standard fuze and the one most commonly issued)

The fuze is a standard Soviet RGD 5 style but does not thread into the body but is rather pinned in place (pin missing)

It still does show a lot of the original gold finish

Overall a hard to find example of a helmet used extensively during the North African campaign by an Italian officer who most probably came under the command of Rommel's Afrika Korps.
