Companions: Waiting at the Gate Cyanotype Postcard with Pasted Photo + Charcoal Portrait blue birds It is signed on theI found these together and am pretty much certain it is the same woman captured in the cyanotype real photo postcard as in the charcoal portrait at right. Whether a photo of her brother or young husband pasted opposite her on the postcard I'm not completely sure, but I'd like to think the latter, and that she's been waiting at the gate for him to arrive home! And then the charcoal portrait in combination makes it seem as if she's been eager to share a
