so I believe this poster must date the somewhere between 1978-1980 or so

perhaps once part of a set of fireplace tools

certainly it is hard to look at a face like this one and not start generating stories

but it still attached) and what appears to be some breakage of the underlying ash structure at the very top of the vase on one area of one side

Joseph Ward, Boston, Beautiful Early (1860s-70s) Stereoview of Coral lino print block so I believe this posterA beautiful early stereoview of coral, produced by Joseph Ward of Boston, who operated at 1256 Washington 1860s 70s, and who is perhaps best known for photographing Mary Todd Lincoln in mourning attire in 1865 as well as John Wilkes Booth. Im not usually much interested in stereoviews, but to my eye this one is transcendent, with these richly toned matte photos of sculptural spiky coral against the yellow card they are mounted on just exactly right
