Needlepoint in Hand-dyed Wool with Backing mark lepton carving Now on its own itI purchased this 19th c. needlepoint in Massachusetts this week from a wonderful, old school antiques dealer of American primitive antiques, and I think it's just a lovely thing. Rare in my experience to find a antique needlepoint that is just pure pattern but not made into something else but this piece was backed with cloth so I do guess just meant to be a mat.
