I really love this old hand holding a ball between two fingers just as an object to set anywhere

Jingles perhaps again a somewhat sardonic reference to the character of the writing on the scrolling page in her hand

and I am expert on very little

Based on a few other carvings out there of a very similar ilk

Wonderful Old Naive Drawing of Three Soldiers on Laid Paper public school It took me a whileIt doesn't get much more up my alley than this little drawing those faces, and orange outfits, and blue hats, and all three lined up in a neat row, one sword bared and rifles slung over shoulders. If it weren't for the green grass underfoot, I'd think they were drawn to cut and make into primitive toy soldiers, as I've had a few sets of those they remind me very much of.
