Such a strange one

with lithographed white faces and pale pink backs (many of them looking as if tea stained now) are so pretty

with the same form and black bristles marked as such on its handle

Sold as found unframed but I think in a dark would frame this would really sing

Winsome Colored Pencil Flowers Drawing art school study diameter x 2 3/8" thickI found this drawing in the Hudson River Valley while digging through some stacks of flat work and it just struck me as a good one striking just the right balance of cheerful and winsome, boldness and delicacy; sweet but not sacharine. I don't believe it's got much age to it, and haven't definitely placed the M McGurk who signed it, but I'm really quite fond if it. 16 1 4" x 10". Colored pencil on paper. Very good condition.
