This is a very nice set of German WWII Heer Oberstleutnant's (Lieutenant Colonel's) Schulterstcken (Shoulderboards) with a single "pip" or star in the silver bullion Russia braid. This rank is equivalent to the U. S. Lt. Colonel, above the rank of Major but below the "Full" colonel. There are also gold roman Numeral IIs, indicating 2nd Corps. This set of shoulder boards have very nice Hochrot (Scarlet) felt
