After 2001s This Is What I Know About Being Gigantic, they issued Bands Like It When You Yell YAR! At Them, a promo CD built to tee up Highly Refined Pirates with album cuts, an interlude, an exclusive song, and a demo. What should have been a throwaway sampler stuck around. Handed out at shows in a cardboard slipcase, it became a fan favourite, later reissued in 2004 as a proper jewel case EP after
