This is an excellent condition Spanish American War US Army M1895 Kepi Style Infantry Enlisted Man's Cap or Hat. This is a Navy Blue felt Kepi Style hat with US Army Eagle buttons on each side. It has a brass crossed rifles Infantry Insignia for "E" Company. Above which is a fine bullion wire embroidered insignia that reads Washington No. 33. We aren't sure of the meaning of this, as the 33rd infantry regiment was
