This is a nice late WW2 "last ditch" issue Japanese Model 30 Arisaka rifle bayonet with straight cross guard and blade bearing no markings

A previous owner did much research on Corporal Hickey and a full file of information including his medals

In 1878 the regiment was deployed to the Afghanistan to take part in the Second Anglo-Afghan War during which the regiment received four battle honors as seen on the silver regimental badge: KABUL

The first poster warns against using objects to block roads which could be considered sabotage, and is dated September 8th, 1944. The second poster dates after VE Day but before VJ Day, and urges Dutch citizens to enlist in the U. S. Marine Corps, travel to America for training, and be sent to the Pacific front to help end the War
