A very niche piece of British WWII militaria, this is a tent heater dated 1945, a very portable heater with a mesh cover for the wick. The top of the can is marked, no doubt, so that it would be stored upright to prevent loss of the Parafin used to light it. The wick holder is marked Vaporite, and the wick extender is marked Sherwoods Bham Ltd. It comes in a tin which is WD marked, 1945 dated & maker marked 13 MB
